Privacy Policy

MoveCortex ("we", "us") provides software for moving companies to manage quotes, jobs, dispatch, and customer communications. This policy explains what data we collect and how it's used while MoveCortex is in private beta. It applies to moving-company accounts ("customers") and to the customers' own clients whose information is entered into the platform ("end customers").

What we collect

• Account information: name, work email, phone number, and company details you provide at signup.
• Business data you enter or your customers submit: contacts, quotes, jobs, invoices, inventory, call recordings and transcripts, and messages sent through the platform.
• Usage data: pages visited and features used within the dashboard, used only to improve the product and to support your account.
• Payment information is not yet collected directly by MoveCortex — billing integrations are not live during the beta.

How we use it

We use this data to operate the platform (e.g. generating quotes, scheduling jobs, sending emails and texts on your behalf to your own customers), to provide support, and to improve reliability and features. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

Third-party processors

We rely on the following infrastructure providers to operate MoveCortex. Each processes data only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Twilio — call forwarding, recording, and SMS, where enabled.
• Anthropic and OpenAI — AI-generated quotes, call summaries, and transcription. Walkthrough videos, audio, and transcripts may be sent to these providers for processing.

Data retention & deletion

We retain account and business data for as long as your account is active. During the beta, you can request export or deletion of your account's data at any time by emailing us — see Contact below.

Security

Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level access control scoping every company's data to that company alone. Passwords are never stored by us — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. As with any beta software, treat this as an evolving product rather than a finished, audited system.

Beta-stage disclaimer

MoveCortex is currently in private beta. Features, this policy, and our terms may change as the product matures and as we add billing and additional integrations. We'll notify active accounts of material changes.
